What Is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy practice that supports relaxation, stress reduction, balance, and overall well-being. Rooted in Japanese tradition, Reiki works with the concept of universal life-force energy.
When you learn Reiki, you gain a lifelong tool for self-care, emotional balance, and supporting the wellbeing of those around you. No prior experience is required. Whether you are drawn to traditional Japanese methods or a spiritually evolving modern lineage, there is a path for you here.

Gendai Reiki
Modern Japanese Reiki Practice
Philosophy & Approach
Gendai Reiki Ho is a modern Japanese Reiki system that honors the original teachings of Mikao Usui while incorporating contemporary understanding of energy healing. The word Gendai means modern in Japanese, and this system bridges the traditional Japanese approach with practical, accessible methods for today's students. It emphasizes personal growth, spiritual development, and the cultivation of inner peace as the foundation of healing.
Lineage & Tradition
Gendai Reiki Ho was developed by Hiroshi Doi, a Japanese Reiki Master who studied with direct students of Mikao Usui. The system preserves the essence of the original Japanese Reiki teachings and is recognized by the Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai, the organization founded by Usui himself.

Gendai Reiki Level I - Foundation
Begin your Reiki journey by learning the foundations of Reiki, its history and principles, self-Reiki, basic hand positions, and how to share Reiki with others. Includes guided practice and a certificate of completion.

Gendai Reiki Hō Level II - Okuden Certificate of Completion
Level II – Okuden | Certificate of Completion Deepen your connection with Reiki through the teachings and practices of Okuden. Students expand their understanding of Reiki, learn additional Gendai Reiki Hō techniques, and explore practices including distant Reiki. Upon completion, students receive a Gendai Reiki Hō Level II (Okuden) Certificate of Completion.

Gendai Reiki Practitioner
Level III – Shinpiden | Advanced Spiritual Practice Shinpiden is an advanced level of Gendai Reiki Hō focused on spiritual growth, inner development, and deepening one's connection with Reiki. Students explore advanced practices designed to support self-realization, personal transformation, and living the Reiki way in everyday life.

Prerequisites
No prior experience is required for Level I. Level II requires completion of Level I. Level III requires completion of Level II.
Certification
Upon completion of each level, students receive a certificate of completion recognizing their training in Gendai Reiki Ho.
Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki
Spiritually Guided Modern Reiki
Philosophy & Approach
Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki is a spiritually guided form of Reiki that is powerful, gentle, and continuously evolving. It works on all levels of a person's being, including the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. Holy Fire® energy is described as coming from a higher level of consciousness and is characterized by feelings of peace, love, and wholeness. It is not associated with any religion and is open to people of all backgrounds and beliefs.
Lineage & Tradition
Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki was introduced by William Lee Rand of the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT) and has continued to evolve through ongoing spiritual guidance. It builds upon the Usui Reiki lineage while incorporating new spiritual energies that have emerged to support healing in our time.

Prerequisites

Live Virtual
Online via Zoom
Holy Fire® Reiki Level I, Level II, and Master/Teacher are available as live virtual classes via Zoom. Gendai Reiki training is available in-person only. You will receive the same instruction and certification as the in-person experience, from the comfort of your own sacred space.
